Voluntary insurance provides financial protection against events that impact the life or health of the insured individual. Under this type of contract, compensation is paid only if a covered event occurs. Once the insurance term expires, the insurer is no longer obligated to provide an insurance payout.

Primary Covered Risks

• Death resulting from illness or accident
• Permanent loss of working capacity due to an accident

Secondary Covered Risks

• Temporary loss of working capacity due to an accident
• Hospitalization due to an accident
• Costs for medications and medical supplies

Insurance coverage for the primary risks is valid both within the Republic of Bulgaria and internationally.

The scope of insurance liability encompasses all requisite expenditures incurred by the insured or by a medical facility for treatment and hospitalization in the event of an acute, unforeseen illness, disease, or accident that occurred during the period of insurance coverage.

In the event that foreign nationals do not possess health insurance or medical insurance upon entering the country, they are obligated to obtain medical insurance valid for the territory of the country and for the duration of their stay.

Covered risks:

• Actually incurred medical expenses by the insured in the event of an acute, unforeseen illness, disease, or accident that occurred during the period of insurance coverage;
• Requisite and appropriate transportation expenses for accommodation or transfer of the insured individual to a medical facility;
• Emergency dental care;

This is a long-term life insurance policy, where the savings portion is invested in investment funds, with the goal of increasing it over time. The funds are invested primarily in securities - stocks and bonds, which allows for investment on global stock exchanges to achieve higher returns. The minimum term for which this insurance can be concluded is 10 years, with the insured party determining the portion of the funds to be invested.
