The "Accident in Seats in a Vehicle" insurance is voluntary and covers all seats in the vehicle. It includes coverage for:
- death resulting from an accident;
- permanent loss of working capacity resulting from an accident;
- temporary incapacity resulting from an accident;
- medical expenses resulting from an accident.
In the event of a traffic accident, regardless of the cause or fault, the insurance covers damages to injured persons who are in the vehicle. This includes when the vehicle is in motion, stopped, or passengers are getting on or off. Insurance of only some of the seats is not permitted; however, insurance of only the driver's seat is allowed if the passenger seats are insured under the mandatory "Accident to Passengers in Public Transport" insurance. The insured person may select the insurance amount for one seat, but it must be the same for all seats. The insurance can be purchased for a period of one month to one year.
